It’s been a wee while since I’ve posted on here, as life has been super busy.

Let’s be real. When you have a small business, it is so much more than just a job... it’s often your whole entire world, so it’s no wonder that it can be hard to release some control!

Hopefully, this post will remind you that there’s no shame in delegation. Chances are, it will actually improve your business.

By delegating a task you don’t like to someone who LOVES that task, you not only have more free time to focus on the parts of your business you really enjoy, you are also helping another small business out. It’s a win win🧡

I can confirm I didn’t look this put together for my first official day back at work... I opted for old pyjamas instead, and I didn’t make an appearance at my desk till after 11am... oops!

Hello! I figured it was about time I reintroduced myself... I’m Bekah (the one and only staff member here at Rust and Roots) 👋🏼

Some facts about me:
- I can’t work without music or a podcast on
- I am awful at taking my own advice (hence why although I run social media accounts for a living, I often neglect this account)
- I drink an excessive amount of coffee
- I have lived in the United States and the Czech Republic, but if I could move anywhere, it would probably be Canada!
- I have a dog and a cat who I adore with my whole heart... Don’t tell anyone, but we’re adopting another dog and she comes home this weekend🤫
